Have to replace unit all too often. Not too cost affective for value. Needs to able to replace batteries at a reasonable price instead and being told by APC to replace unit each time.

The UPS would come with a 3 year warranty period please do not hesitate to reach out to an APCbySchneider support team. Generally the internal battery will last around 3 to 5 years as well before it would need replaced.
