I got it home, plugged it in, and It didn't work, and I had to return it.

Great UPS for my workstation / gaming computer. Currently I have my 2 monitors, router, computer, and a few miscellaneous electronics hooked up to this UPS to protect all of my equipment from any power fluctuations and power outages. It works great and immediately switches to battery power any time it detects that the power provided from the main outlet is not enough or if there is a surge. In my area, this happens a lot more than usual and actually caused my previous computer to have a power supply failure. To add to the protection features as well, this unit can hook up to your PC with a data cable and gracefully power it down for you in the event of a long power outage using APC's Powerchute application (which can be downloaded directly from the APC website). Battery power lasts for up to 40 minutes after a power outage with everything powered on under standard load, which gives plenty of time to make sure all important work is saved. I expect many years of valuable power protection for my equipment from this quality piece of equipment.

I got this a few years ago to protect my WiFi from power since I had recently started working from home. I only am protecting my router and supporting hardware, and have had no issues for 3 1/2 years. This keeps my WiFi up and running for almost 2 hours, which has been far more than any power outage I've experienced since I bought it. I use a Raspberry PI to monitor it since it doesn't have it's own WiFi and it's not near any of my computers to plug in the usb cable, and that works well with off the shelf software. Overall this is an excellent choice if 1500VA is enough for your needs. I am about to buy a second one now that I have a desktop computer without it's own battery, and I want to go with something that works, and this has proven itself in my house.

Excellent backup power and quality power for your everyday needs. We use this to run a WiFi router and a security camera system - if the power goes out, our internet and cameras don't even notice!

I purchased 2 new computers and bought this because of power flickering during storms cause Computers to shut down and internet resets. I has doubtful this would handle my loads but so far i am very pleased. I have 2 Alienware - Aurora R7 Desktop - Intel Core i7 - 16GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 - 2TB Hard Drive + Intel Optane Memory - Epic silver hooked up along with 2 24" LED monitors, a modem and a wireless router. While playing world of warcraft and watching the display it says I have 10 to 18 min of usage when the power goes out. This is more than enough time for me to shut down the computers if the powers goes out and this will keep my computer and internet from resetting when the power flickers. I will post a update later when I have been using this for a couple of months.

After reading about the early serial-number chirp problem, I made sure I got a fresher unit. It took a little doing. There's no chirping noises from this unit. I leave the front panel on all the time. It's cool looking. The lighting is that popular LED elephant-grey color. I especially like watching the readout that shows my house voltage fluctuate. : P It has already saved the day a few times for me in the couple months I've had it. I later bought the smaller 650 model too for my modem-router in the other room.

Good UPS, delivers on its intent: I have it protecting my two Synology servers, WiFi, router, Ethernet Hub, Mac mini, monitor, etc. Has been a solid performer for 3.5 years. Now it looks like the battery is no longer good: it is expected to last 3 - 5 years, so within the range. During this time it avoided multiple voltage drops, a few brief power failures and now on its last "breath" give me enough time to shut everything down before quitting. Will get a new battery and put it back on the system.

Worked well through multiple blackouts and a couple years of dirty power. Worked perfectly for 5 years before suddenly giving up the ghost. It gave my beefy gaming rig 15-20 minutes to shutdown properly.

First time usage just happened, I knew that I would jump right on this review. So first outage do to wheather, product last about an hour (52 mins) on my stop watch but I started it 3 to 4 mins late after only hooking up (modem & main home phone stay hooked but ran a 100ft extension to my room to a power strip with samsung 50' Xfinity wireless cable box and cell charger hook up) NOTE: after seeing the timer at 17 mins. I turn my Tv power to standard picture/audio low power. Which then the timer was showing 28 mins. Still had 6 mins. but the power came back on. So factoring all that, plus subtract more time across the 100 ft extension and runtime of 1hr 20mins or more for thing similar is not a reach, but I just may pick up one more if an power outage extends longer. So rec items and essential items wouldn't exhaust the one battery runtime/life.

APC makes great quality UPS', this has saved me numerous times from power outages. I have multiple Back-UPS for all of my devices.

Needed a power-surge back up for our xfinity modem, wifi router, and PC. Unit has surge protection hookups for comcast cable and network. Was able to plug more devices in to the APC unit. Power back up is important for us because my wife works from home and we have had enough issues with the internet going down, we don't need problems with power outages too.

I am really happy I bought this. Where I live we have frequent storms that come in quickly and causes power to go out. When I first bought this the battery would last 4 hours, great to be able to game when power is out in the rest of the house!

Easy to set up, small, and very reliable. Would recommend to anyone with a home office.

Nice UPS appliance. The only reason 1 less star is due to software issues. Instructions still have you download powerchute personal edition which would not connect to the unit from my server. Turned out I needed it's replacement software now called Powerchute Serial. Kind of a waste of time figuring that out.

I use this on my home computer set up. This thing has saved my computer from serious powersurges due to my home being in a more rural area and our power being so variable. In the last 12 weeks alone this UPS has intervened 23 times. In some of those cases those surges frying other electronics around my house. My computer and monitor have been fine every time though. Well worth the money.

This is my first battery back up and it works great. And even with all of the complaints of this models slight chirping noise,well it isn't that bad. The reason I didn't give a five star rating,is because every once in awhile the unit will not power on. I found out that I have to disconnect,then reconnect the battery to get it to power on. I don't know if it's just the one I have or if it is my luck with things. Other than that,I'm glad that I have a battery back up. With that said,I'm not sure if APC is the best to go with. And when it's time to replace the battery,I may decide to try another brand.

Great UPS. Is supporting my home entertainment system. Best Buy had the UPS in stock and had its ready for pickup when I arrived. Great service.

This showed up earlier, which was nice. A backup is so important especially when working from home. APC has always been reliable. It is very heavy.

Great Purchase!!! I use it for my work computer. It allows me enough time to continue working and save my work before the battery is drained.
