Customers are delighted by the Back-UPS Pro's long battery life, ease of use, and strong performance. Many appreciate the clear LCD screen and the ample number of outlets, along with the inclusion of USB Type-C and Type-A ports. However, some users noted the unit's weight and reported minor issues with the software and occasional noise. The warranty process also received mixed feedback.

    Simple, robust UPS

Simple setup, you do have to remove the plastic barrier so internal lead acid battery can charge. I use it to protect my desktop computer, wireless router, cable modem, and digital TV from fluctuating power which has become more common at my home. It will run about two hours on battery (with TV off). Best feature is that the battery can be replaced when it gets weak instead of buying a whole new UPS.

Got this to replace an old APC UPS I had, so far I have no complains. Easy to set up, and has plenty of capacity! When connected to a windows computer with the USB cable, windows will treat it like a laptop battery, letting you see how much charge it has, and auto shutdown when power runs low in the event of a power outage, really nice features. Currently, I have 3 monitors, my person PC, and my work laptop all connect to it. It estimates that it has enough power to last 35 minutes in the event of a power loss. Pretty good in my books!

So far it has tested out just fine. I have not had a power outage since installation but with the wattage I have set up, I should expect approximately 3 hours of run time. Size was great for my application. It is the approximate height as my printer next to it so it blends in. Controls are easy to operate and scroll through 1 star deduction. If you want to program the actual settings it requires you to plug in (cord provided) direct to the computer. When doing this you will permanently disable the screen saver and sleep mode of your computer. If that bothers you plan a different option or just use as a regular backup. You will have to uninstall the program and restart your computer to undo these settings. This is how I am using the system.

    ** NOT FOR GAMING PC**

Its a ups and it is a good one however, most modern gaming pc’s and even just highend desktops require “ pure sine wave”. This product produces “ synthetic sine wave”. If you dont know what “sine wave” is I recommend you look it up. Essentially when the power cuts out, your pc will too. You would hope this would keep it running, but nooo! Pc’s want pure sinewave not synthetic. Complete opposite of why you even bought this thing. Its only good for things like tvs and other electronics you might want to protect. But if your looking for this to keep your pc alive for atleast a few minutes to power off you pc safely. This aint the one! You pc will cut off immediately when your power does j.s.

Works good, the back up does get confused by quick flickering of power that sets off a fault code and a super loud beeping that does not stop until you reset the unit

A name to trust in battery backup

This is the largest capacity gps seen for sale on most consumer sites. It has one USB A port and one USB C port on the front. The UPS has a datacable included and software that will track your power usage and activations. If your power local power is over/under voltage or you have blackouts this unit is for you. A high end gaming pc gets more than enough time to safely shut down in an outtage. These still use lead acid batteries because apparently that's still probably the best battery technology for this purpose. Replacement batteries will run you around a hundred dollars depending on if you buy regular or deep cycle batteries from a company such as batteries plus. I've had quite a number of APC products over the years and all have been good units. My current unit had been serving me for 6+ years and my newer toys can use the USB C port capabilities so I just went ahead and replaced it with a new unit. I'll probably use the old one on another computer or just keep it to charge the phone and tablets if the power goes out. Fortunately the new house in NC doesn't have near the power outtages I had in Pinellas County, FL but I still believe in having a UPS even if all it does mostly is catch power brownouts and surges. If your PC runs 24/7 a UPS is a good investment to protect your expensive components and your sanity.

Absolutely amazing product! I did some research on APC but not really an in depth thing because I needed a fast solution due to my Monster PowerCenter 3500 saving me in a surge. (GETTING FIXED) I needed a solution for my audio studio and computer and ended up getting this all in one powerhouse! The battery backup is the thing tech guys dream of to keep delicate electronics safe! It allows you to safely turn off your system in the instance of a power outage to wave valuable information. I got one for my business setup as well!

Solid UPS for a gaming computer

This UPS was upgraded from a 750VA UPS after I upgraded my video card on my PC to an RTX 3080. The old one would start beeping when I started playing games because of the extra power draw. This one is a great a replacement I am a big fan of APC even though they cost more than competitors, but for good reason as they seem to work better. Really enjoy the display of information and I use the front ports to charge my devices. Also, takes up less room under my desk as its more vertical than flat.

APC is the leader in UPS. I have bought a bunch of different brands in the past but usually come back to APC. The quality and features are well worth the slightly higher cost. I like that this one has 6 battery backup outlets which is critical since I run triple monitors. This has more then enough capacity for my workstation. A nice touch is the built in USB and USB-C charging ports, this is really convenient to charge up my phone recharge my keyboard and mouse. The one thing I would like to see is for the USB-C port to be power delivery so I can charge my laptop. it is only a 15W total output for the two USB ports.
