The best battery backup on the market, we us this model for all of our sites. We get a lot of storms so this keeps the lights on while.

I recently purchased a battery backup from Best Buy and was very impressed with the entire experience. The price was excellent—definitely one of the best deals I could find. I chose the curbside pickup option, and I was pleasantly surprised at how quick and smooth the process was. I arrived, checked in, and had the product brought out to my car almost immediately. Great service, great value, and a super convenient experience. Highly recommend!

It does what I need it to do. I use this for my Land Rover when traveling and it works great with my 5G gateway. High speed internet where I go!

The APC 1500 BN1500M2 UPS has enough power for my fully loaded gaming PC with multiple video cards, overclocked CPU & RAM, multiple SSD, sound card, external DAC & amp, and multiple monitors. The new style display is outstanding compared to my old APC XPS 1300 UPS. The display is bright and large. Unfortunately there is one issue with the display. When the display is on, there is a faint but ever present high pitched whine. The high pitched whine is faint enough that you may tell yourself it is okay, but there are days where I wish I returned the unit. The high pitched whine is not present when the display is turned off. However as mentioned above in my review I do like the display turned on when using the unit. Overall I love the unit due to the stability of the voltage output, surge protection, and battery back-up, but I find the faint high pitched whine that is present when the display is turned on to be annoying and hard to live with.

Plugged everything in and easily installed the software. Had a couple of power glitches during storms. The software let me know when the power went out and when it came back. Otherwise, the computer didn't know the difference.

Works as intended. The display is useful in determining actual load on the UPS. It is also nice to see a test result slip on the side from the manufacturer.

Not only a good UPS with Surge Protection!! But offers EMI & RFI noise filtering. And just for good measure has AVR. I use them in all my projects..

Great back up battery, I have Gateway and TV connected to it among other devices and everything has been working fine during power outages, thanks Best Buy

I like the updated usb charging ports which is very useful

Does the trick against Florida electricity. Helps against the dips when large appliances are turned on - and of course against power outages!

This is the second APC that I have purchased. Each one performs as it should. Recently my electric went off for about twenty minutes this unit kept my computer my printer and modem on the entire time. Very happy with my purchase.

I have had APC backup units for many years. I purchased this one just a few months ago, on May 5, 24. After returning from a trip overseas I could not get the UPS to turn on so I could resume the computers attached to it to working status. Looking at the APC website there is literally no way to submit for a warranty replacement. There were, however, many steps suggested to try. I did as they instructed, disconnected the battery, held power button for 5 seconds, reconnected battery, plug in UPS, and it did in fact turn on. However, if I were not a person comfortable with doing such, these steps would have been meaningless. No number to call, no way to report a problem on the website. In the future I will look at other brands. Disappointing in a company like APC.

Great unit - easy to set up and I love the slim design.

I use this to protect my internet cable modem because everytime the power flickers or goes out, it takes several minutes for my internet to kick back on. Ever since I’ve purchased this unit from Best Buy, I’ve had no internet interruption when the power flickers off. This is for sure doing its job.

This unit is now two years old and has a 3 year warranty. I noticed earlier this year it was having trouble and would start clicking really fast when I would boot my desktop. Fast forward to two days ago when thunderstorms pushed through my area. All of my other battery backups did what they are supposed to do but this unit just stopped working and started squealing when the lights flickered displaying error code F02. I tried to reboot my machine but it wouldn't supply any power. Then I turned it off and back on several times before the F02 would clear off the display and then it would boot my machine. This is the pro version and cost more than the regular version yet the regular versions work fine while this pro model fell flat on its face. Since I need power to my desktop without fail I immediately purchased a new cyberpower sine wave unit to replace it. I searched the apc website for warranty claims but their chat feature is offline and Schnieder electric apparently is in India. This will be my last APC brand purchase.

First product did not startup, but Best Buy replaced it the same day i brought the product back with a same product. The staff was very helpful..

Awesome ups until the batteries age out. Replacement batteries are not a good value when compared to the sale price of a new unit.

The APC Back UPS Pro is a great item, this is my second one I have purchased.

Needed a proper UPS for my new Synology NAS. It may be over spec'd for just the NAS, Router, and one external usb drive, but I wanted compatibility, some reasonable battery power time, and integration with Synology's power settings. It's straight forward, well built, and of course APC is a leading and reliable brand. Setup was simple. Engage the battery as illustrated and plug in. It does have front usb charging outlets, but this unit stores away in an entertainment cabinet so they won't be used. Very satisfied with purchase. Among other information included in the display, the unit will provide an estimated battery up time on power failure based on the amount of draw from the devices you connect. It's kind of set and forget, but do monitor battery condition over time - they don't last forever ;-)

We have many power problems where we live, so we have many UPSs. We have two of these, along with several others by APC. We have a UPS on our computers, TV, cable modem and routers. We also have some lights and Alexa controllers on UPSs. These 1500s are solid performers. We have had several power events since we installed these, including high voltage (about 145 Volts) when a local substation self destructed. All the APC units handled all the problems. We have one of these on our big TV that uses about 200 Watts and with it, we hardly notice when the power fails. The free PowerChute software is informative and helpful. I also very much like the front-panel display. It comes on automatically when there's a power problem.
