The APC Back UPS Pro is a great item, this is my second one I have purchased.

Got me through a good rub sesh without having to break and go reset the breaker. Could have gone on another 40 or so minutes it said with my computer under load and my Fleshlight rocket blasting at full rpms. Only problem is it's on the better side of really loud. Like think in between the fire alarm at a school for the deaf and how loud you gotta talk for Grammy to hear your 3 seats down at a quiet dinner table. Lots of outlets in the back too, not very big, nice subtle look.

Easy to install and set up. I already had one power outage event and it worked exactly as it should.

Well, It saved me 7 times this year already. With CA having rolling blackouts without any warning. This gives me time to shut everything down and keep a light on for up to 128 minutes. It performed so well that I purchased an additional one for the entertainment center so no matter what I could keep my wifi going. 5 additional boxes were purchased later to protect my remaining computers and TV's in the house. This is a must for every house that has unstable power or power surges. You can monitor your usage by the program. I highly recommend the APC units.

Purchased as a replacement, so far so good, and we lost power for a day & a half

Being a full-time RV'er, this UPS is a must when ensuring uninterrupted power is available for my computer equipment. If you are relying upon your generator, and power is diverted from your AC outlets to power other high-current appliances or equipment, this APC handles the load for my system with no problems. As of this writing, I have been using it for three months and it is doing just fine. My system pulls quite a load, but this UPS holds up power for almost an hour. I certainly recommend it for such instances.

High quality, easy to setup, and has two sets of outlets--one for the battery backup and another for just surge protection. LCD display shows the current load/remaining battery power.

It works as it should don’t have any issues. Running a pc 2 monitors and a printer

Actually bought 2 - one for my wireless modem and weather station (est. back-up time of 160 min.), and the other for my desktop PC and 2 - 27 inch monitors (est. back-up time of 34 min. - plenty of time to do an orderly shutdown).

working great need to buy another one, service was great it was hard to find i had no help many employees but no one wanted to help or they were busy

I bought this APC Back-UPS PRO 1500VA to replace a failed older APC 1500VA unit (also purchased at Best Buy) due to water damage. That unit was probably 15 years old and would have still worked if the damage wouldn't have occurred to it. I did have to replace the battery (about $50 online) in the older one, though, as it wouldn't hold a charge for too long because of its age at the time (about 8 years). The old unit still worked, but the relay(s) in it were shot due to the water damage (if power was lost, it wouldn't engage the battery power). I have always used an APC Back-UPS 1500VA for my gaming computer/monitor/Cisco switch/coaxial cable for cable modem. This device "cleans" the incoming wall power and prolongs the life of your expensive and sensitive electronics, not to mention that it provides continuous power for your equipment from brownouts and power outages until your home power is restored again. I can have almost 40 minutes of backup power available for my computer/LED monitor if I am not computing heavily. This new unit is also great because it has 2 USB outlets (my old one did not) to charge your phones (or anything that uses a USB cable) if the power should ever go out and you need a charge. This unit is highly recommended.

i needed a ups to replace a failed unit and i needed to do it with cost in mind. This model is less costly than competitors but is easy to setup and has a slim profile.

Easy setup, works as intended. The power grid where I live is stressed due to unprecedented growth. Go back to the coast, don’t ruin my rural area with your backward politics. Past year or so power outages are frequent, this has stopped all my improper shutdown messages on my NAS and my PlayStation. Should have done it sooner. Seriously, don’t leave an area because of high taxes and crime. And try to implement the same policies that create high taxes and crime in the area you move to.

Great UPS/Battery Backup! We have been having power fluctuations in our area due to some of the construction going on and this unit has made our ability to continue working seamlessly. If your in the market or think you need one, I’d highly recommend it! It’s very well priced in my opinion for what it is capable of doing in the event of loss of power.

I have used APC backups for years because they are very reliable. Easy to set up and use. Highly recommended for all computer equipment.

This is a great backup for any electronic goods that may be sensitive to abrupt power outages. I typically use the battery backup for computers, or electronics, that use non-SSD hard drives. This battery backup should give you enough juice to power down . your devices in a black/brown out. In the case of those events, the unit will make a buzzing/hum sounds. I haven't had to shut down my devices due to black out, but I can tell the battery backup kicks in during brown outs because of the buzzing/hum sounds. If you want to support devices that consume more power, just buy a unit that has a larger VA capacity.

Use it for my mid-size, average workload PC. Handles that, my three monitors, and a lamp with power to spare. During a blackout, it saved me from losing my work.
