A typical African man, Nigerian precisely, this is what we need! I had a reason to use it for an extended period of time when my neighborhood power failed, and I can tell you for a fact, it surpassed my expectations.

I haved used APC UPSes for many years and with the exception on 1 problematic model they last many years and have reasonable battery life. I have several of this model that are over 5 years old and have replaced the battery once or twice. I have tried other brands only to have them die one the first power outage.

I’m glad I got this one because the following week we had an outage and allowed me to shutdown my computer and still have enough power to have wifi running for couple hours

It looks nice and sits on my desk instead of having to hide it. But it didn't do much when I had a power outage (although the outage lasted 2.5 days). It gave me a warning sound and it was the middle of the night and it said to press the power button. I did and it just shut down. Better as a surge protector than anything else. A lot of money for a surge protector.

Power outages happen frequently in Florida during rainy season. I purchased two of these computer back-ups for my two boy's computers for just this reason. We have already had a storm early in the season with power outage and the unit gave my boys time to finish the school work/games they were in the middle of playing and shut the computer down safely. Works perfectly and suits our needs.

This ensures that my computers will be safe from the surge. We use this at work (enterprise edition) and keeps our server running despite of power outage. Very quiet

This is my second time buying this product. It worked so well protecting and keeping important electronics on during storms, i decided to purchase a second one for additional protecting for other rooms in the house. Very satisfied and would highly recommend.

Bought 2 of these to protect our church equipment. So far no problems with this equipment.

This lead acid battery backup has protected my devices from brief power outages and it even tells you how much electricity the devices use and how long you can run them when main power fails. Great for people who have to deal with sketchy power stability; especially if you live in climates where this can be a problem at certain times of the year the year. Some of the best features revolve around its screen which gives you the battery's health and charge level, tells you how many minutes of run time to expect given the load on the battery, and it also gives you a quick way to see the pertinent information by pressing the display button. The only disappointing aspect I've run into is the fact that I can't set the display to default to the "load screen" which provides a live readout of the energy use of all the connected devices in Watts.

This battery back up pack works excellent. It came in very handy when the storms came through and allowed time for a complete shutdown before losing any work.

Seems to work ok. Happy with the purchase. Was completely dead at one point. Had to do a reset by removing the positive lead from the battery and reinserting it. A little concerned now about reliability, but so far it's working.

This is just what I need when the power goes out and I'm working from home. Very easy to set up and has enough power connections on the rear of the unit.

Top quality. Have never experienced and issues with APC backup UPS power products. The batteries are easy to replace after 5 or 6 years and it's a cost effective way to avoid recycling old units. The display is clear, bright and informative. I only wish this new generation of UPS's had the older feature of 'switched' outlets.

This is an awesome product. One thing that was weird. Had to open it up and put the battery back up together correctly. Needed a power strip to attach up to the backup outlet to power monitor, computer, modem and a low watt eco light. ... Wish there was a power backup for my refrigerator. Its is the most essential appliance that needs power backup for 24 hours.

good amount of uptime for a workstation, let's you keep working through a power glitch and still have enough time to save and close if power is still off 15 minutes later.

I've been using APC for quite a few years, and I have been consistently happy again and again. I use the Back-UPS Pro 1000VA or 1500VA models to help protect commercial grade network equipment. To date, I have never had an incident where a power surge has damaged any equipment sitting behind one of these beasts. I would highly recommend this as a quality piece of hardware.

I purchased this for a customer of mine. It was an experiment to see how long it would last hooked up to an oxygen machine. It would have lasted for about 25 minutes, but my customer wanted longer, so I ended up returning it. Personally, I was happy with it and would have kept it. It seemed well built, and was easy to set up. The initial charge went pretty quick too.

Honestky i wanted to get a cheaper product but im glad i bought this. Its an insurance policy for my PC incase of anything. Especially living in Miami with all the huricanes and power outages. Bight the bullet and get it if your on the fence you wont regret it.

Best readily available ups recommended 1250 wattage and higher amps
