All of my devices continued to working after the power glitch or brown outs.

Plug layout in the back is such that you will be able to fit all your plugs, even those with large box attachments. USB connects on the front are extremely convenient if you place the unit in an accessible place. For those that are inclined, being able to see the power pull from your equipment and then visually see how much available time if you turn off certain pieces( monitors, speakers, peripherals ) you can get out of the batteries. But when all is said and done it's a functional UPS that does what it is supposed and will be ignored 98% of the time...... Which is as it should be. :)

They make it straightforward in setting up and using their software to monitor and configure the battery backup. If you have a media server or a important system, highly suggest getting a battery backup that can automate shutting down your system safely without losing hardware or data in a power outage.

I deployed my UPS with my computer equipment. Each time, it ran fine for the day. When I turned the UPS off for the night, I was unable to turn it back on the next morning. I returned the first unit for an exchange. For the second unit, I contacted APC's tech support who was able to resolve my complaint to my satisfaction. Too much work to get a satisfactory unit.

At this time, there are no known field issues related to the BN1500M2 model that have been cascaded to our technical support team. We assure that our units are being tested before they are released for sales. As long as this unit is handled following the instructions and used within its intended purpose, then everything should be fine. Now if in case of a failure, we also assure you that our skilled Technical Support Representatives shall be here to help troubleshoot and/or replace as necessary as this unit is covered with a 3 year warranty.

Many error codes, it would chirp loudly every time I ran the microwave, it is uncomfortablely heavy, the screen went black on day 10 and only acted as a passthrough. Returned it for a refund.
