Awesome product, I bought it after losing a spreadsheet I was working on under a deadline that would not move. Since then power flickered and not a single issue with the computer or other items plugged into the backup.

I live in area where we have a lot of surges. One of my computers' motherboard was destroyed by multiple surges, so I was led to purchase this back-up battery and surge protector. I haven't had any problems and we have had power shortages twice since I purchased this item. It's definitely better to have something like this instead of replacing a motherboard or even a desktop.

APC proven reliability, LCD screen to monitor functions, and ability to replace battery

My previous APC UPS stopped working after nearly 10 years. So, I purchased this one. I went to BestBuy, found it and bought it, and went home to move all my plugs from the old UPS to this one. 1/2 hour after I realized the old one stopped working, I had the new one up and running and it has not failed me since.

UPS works fine and is able to handle the load I tested to see what happens if power goes out and you get about 5 minutes of time on just the battery load so it gives time for you to shut down computer but only if you are home in case of power outage

Spending the extra money on a battery backup is always worth it in the end. Within days, I had a lightning storm that took out my power, and the APC quickly jump into action when the power went out. I like that the higher-end APCs have PowerChute to shut down my machine after a set amount of minutes on battery power. Great purchase overall!

I had to purchase this UPS to replace one with an aging battery that failed the internal check multiple times. I could replace the battery only, but this is any easier option IMO. I get around 5 years before needing a new battery.

Recently had a power surge during storms. These devices saved my equipment from being destroyed. Spoke with customer service at apc to troubleshoot. While they have a 3 year warranty, Mine was out of warranty. So I had to replace one that sacrificed itself for my computer and routers. Fair price to pay vers loosing all the electronics. Best Buy had on shelf and got network back up in less then hour.

Great UPS, easy to set up and work with. I purchased it for use at my office, and it works great.

I've had older models of this 1500VA Back-UPS Pro, but we needed another. This one has a few nice touches that the older ones lacked, including the USB charging ports on the front panel. I've been a customer of APC for 20 years, and I've never been disappointed in their products.

Great battery backup. Able to sustain two 27” monitors, my PC and network equipment successfully on a power outage. Will purchase another one soon.

I bought two of these units for myself in the bedroom (now my pandemic office) and for my wife who works in the living room where her pandemic office is. As winter came we plugged in an electric space heater and tripped the breaker when we turned on the microwave in the kitchen... I'm a teacher, she's an administrator so we're both in very important meetings and can't afford to go down. This has saved us from ourselves (microwave) and the weather as the power has gone out in our neighborhood a couple times. I recommend the 1500 because after everything is plugged in it says there is only about 26 minutes of supplied power. That was long enough for me to maintain my Zoom connection with my students when the power went out the other day. My wife has the other 1500 model which is a little less expensive and we don't notice any difference. This one just looks a little cooler to me. Vanity - yeah - perhaps :) I was concerned about having enough power plugs on the back but realized later that a lot of the plugs were already connected to a surge protector - so, being in a hurry - I just took the 6 low voltage devices on the surge protector and quickly connected it to one of the battery-backed plugs. Done.

Great for using with TVs and other electronic items. Ends issues with short power outages. For longer outages allows you to do a normal shutdown.

I have purchased a number of APC battery backups from Best Buy. The brand is a good one that performs well (I have three in use now) and Best Buy is a convenient source when the need arises. This purchase was made even more convenient when I bought the unit on-line and was able to pick up and check out immediately as it was waiting on me when I got there.

I needed a new back up when I added a second monitor and found my old battery back-up didn't have enough power to support everything. This unit did the trick. What they don't tell you is APC offers a rebate if you turn in your old unit to them BEFORE you buy a new unit. See their website! I have yet to figure out how to install the software that is supposed to shut down the computer for you when the power goes off. The instructions for that are lacking.

I'm using this to power my PC (that draws about 650-700 watts), two monitors and charge my phone. Fairly easy to set up and gives you ease of mind because you know your expensive electronic devices will be safe in case of power outages.

Standard UPS, no complaints. Good build quality and reliability.
