Updated my main UPS to this one and it works great. It has already protected my primary workstation many times.

There's a reason why APC commands a small price premium over other manufacturers and it's very simple - they make good products and stand behind their warranty. When it comes to power protection, remember this is one area you should never skimp on; a lesson I forgot. My last 1500VA comparable unit was from a "Cyber"-competitor and died after just 13 months. Luckily, it didn't take any of my home lab with it. Although the last unit was my first time buying a cheaper unit, boy was I reminded why you don't go cheap (even if it's only $25)!

Excellent, the digital readout tell you how much power is left after losing power. It tells you in minutes. Great product

It is very quiet and has one more backup outlet that most others. The screen is easy to read and has useful information.

Bought a new computer so i needed a battery back up. Helps with the brownouts that occasionally happen. Works better than a simple power strip. Keeps my computer safer from spikes in power.

I've used APC UPSs for years, but always had multiple smaller units. This unit meets all my needs with advanced features not found in the smaller units.

If all you need is 1500VA or less, this is perfect. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that’s using a computer at home for work during this pandemic. With the power going out during storms or whatever the reason for losing power, this battery back-up unit has saved me a couple of times already. I’m running two computers on it (not simultaneously) with a monitor, pro audio rack gear and monitors as well as external storage and it’s still holding up. It tells you exactly how much power you’re actually using too. Couldn’t be happier that I purchased this.
