Bought a new computer so i needed a battery back up. Helps with the brownouts that occasionally happen. Works better than a simple power strip. Keeps my computer safer from spikes in power.

There's a reason why APC commands a small price premium over other manufacturers and it's very simple - they make good products and stand behind their warranty. When it comes to power protection, remember this is one area you should never skimp on; a lesson I forgot. My last 1500VA comparable unit was from a "Cyber"-competitor and died after just 13 months. Luckily, it didn't take any of my home lab with it. Although the last unit was my first time buying a cheaper unit, boy was I reminded why you don't go cheap (even if it's only $25)!

Could be better, when power uses or button off, requires me to unplug and disconnect the battery and after that reattach the battery for it to power back on.

Updated my main UPS to this one and it works great. It has already protected my primary workstation many times.

Excellent, the digital readout tell you how much power is left after losing power. It tells you in minutes. Great product

Even though it doesn't work through - outages, it gives superior backup for several hours after shorter outages. It exceeded my expectations every time.

I've used APC UPSs for years, but always had multiple smaller units. This unit meets all my needs with advanced features not found in the smaller units.

Nice to have the confidence of the UPS protection. Easy out of the box setup, basically just plug and go just using the default settings. Great value for the backup size.

It is very quiet and has one more backup outlet that most others. The screen is easy to read and has useful information.

If all you need is 1500VA or less, this is perfect. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that’s using a computer at home for work during this pandemic. With the power going out during storms or whatever the reason for losing power, this battery back-up unit has saved me a couple of times already. I’m running two computers on it (not simultaneously) with a monitor, pro audio rack gear and monitors as well as external storage and it’s still holding up. It tells you exactly how much power you’re actually using too. Couldn’t be happier that I purchased this.

I have used these type of battery back up for a few years now. When we loose power I am able to shut down properly and still have power for a small lamp.

We have always trusted APC to keep us running when we experience power outages. Not only do we use this at our business, but we have them in our homes.

I need to upgrade my UPS to give me longer battery life and the APC 1500VA was a great fit. It allows me over 30 mins of battery life to safely shutdown my network.

Luckily I haven't had to use it yet. I have it plugged in to provide backup for my router and fiber optic connection as well as a NAS. Checkin on the NAS it would provide roughly 2 and half hours of backup power for those items. The NAS is setup to shut down after 10 minutes of backup power so should be even longer once that shuts down. Hopefully I never need it but love knowing I have it.
