I do not recommend for this purpose. Will support 90 minutes only so if the power really goes out not useful, but for minor outages I will sleep through them. Love that the alarm is silencable unlike past backups I had for pc. This is intended to give you time to safely save work and shut down pc, not power a medical device. For the intended purpose this thing is fantastic

It's a UPS alright

Great power back up option for home networking

I got this with the hope that power outages would not send my network into confusion. So far so good.

So far, so good. What I really like about it is the cable in and out capability which protects my network modem from a cable line spike. Set up was pretty easy.
