So far works great and does everything I need it to do. Batteries came fully charged, so that was nice.

During recent storms I heard it click stopping the surges. If you don’t have one of these your computer will get fried or at least damaged, which is devastating. Highly recommend!

I had it a few days before getting around to taking it out of the box. When we got everything plugged in we noticed the AC indicator light was not working. We ran all the trouble shooting with no luck, it was apparent there was a short in the unit because when we would remove the battery (still connected) the AC light would come on for a few seconds and then go back off. Beware! Best Buy will not take this type of item back after 14 days, so needless to say I had to deal with APC directly, get an RMA and send back to the mfg. But they are sending me a new unit. I am looking forward to getting my replacement unit.

Probably overkill to cover my equipment until the generator kicks in, but better to overdo than skimp.
