Only downside is you are lucky if they last three years before needing a new one. Both APC and the other brands all have about the same life span. Make sure you use a program on your PC to see how much wattage you use at at most (like if your gaming you use more). If your battery size is to small, the battery won't even power up. So be careful. I run a PC, screen, speakers, small lamp and phone system on it. And I game on a high end PC. So 1500va is the minumum I'd get to be safe.

Excellent UPS

I have many of them and use them for all of my sensitive electronic components (TVs, stereo, computers, modem/wifi, etc.). The battery is replaceable when it dies however I worry about degradation of the surge protection over time and prefer to replace rather than repair.

Helps keep his super expensive gaming computer safe from power outages. We get tons of outages here so it helps keep his computer safe from shortages. The unit is a little on the big side but can't complain if it does its job. There's a good amount of plug-ins on the unit including a USB-c port which is handy.
