Excellent battery backup and surge protection

It is surprising quite and it works as promised. It took me a few minutes to connect the battery pack. After that I conducted a test by turning of the power source. The computer and video monitor started right up.

Buzzing, faulty unit?

Not deafening but enough to be annoying. Could have been a faulty unit but I ended up returning and just purchasing a new battery for my older XS1000.

Backup for my home server.

Smoothing out the power and keeping the system running if I lose power and the option to shutdown after a certain remaining % is nice to have. The replacement batteries are a little on the high side but 1/3 the cost of I guess is ok.

I have a PlayStation 5, 65inch tv, audio receiver/subwoofer, and a DirecTV box and all combine equals about half the full load the ups offers. We've lost power and had some brown out events and the ups came on as intended and kept my stuff safe!
