The new unit was very easy to set up, and works great. The optional PowerChute software is also very easy to download, set up, and use. It would be great if there were more USB-A charging ports, though. This thing has the oomph to handle more charging devices.

Provides plenty of power to keep my personal cloud, modem and router running when the power goes out. It has enuff juice to keep them spooled up for over two hours without power.

It provides a great piece of mind for my computer and me. I know if things get real bad I can eat this thing. I can sleep at night knowing this is vegan and glutton free product with only 150 calories per serving.

Wanted To, but…

Unfortunately, both times the power has gone out since I bought these and ran our entire internet and phone setup through them, the whole internet and phone system went down with all the rest. So after all that all I get is that it beeps loudly and obnoxiously in the dark while you are cursing because, y’know, best laid plans & all that.

I would just double check that the equipment is plugged into the battery protected outlets and just not the surge only side. If it is plugged into the correct outlet I would just make sure the internal battery is connected. I'm currently able to see my computer pull 523 watts underload and no issues. My old UPS was rated at 400, but didnt allow me to see the pull. I like that I can see this data at any given glance.
