    We have been having several split second power outages and brown outs this summer. After buying a new TV I figured this isn't good for it. Also each time the Direc tv box would reset and have to wait on it. This has helped that problem, no interruption in programing and if the power is out for a little longer, it gives me time to properly shut everything off.
