Very good home consumer protection

The gentleman told me this company ( APC) had excellent units that would easily suit my needs. I had a similar and smaller surge protector which I had purchased years ago at Best Buy. Was very satisfied with it.

Great addition to protect my expensive electronics

A device that would not only protect from power fluctuations , but one that would clean the A/C power and provied some backup time if I was to loose power. Well I had looked at this model online and had seen it on sale at Best Buy - made the purchase couldn't be happier. Easy Setup and plenty recepticles for all my hardware .

Mixed feelings

Great Looking and easy to use but not as powerfull

With Only one 24watt hour table top fan as a load, the expected back up power time was around 1hour, accoring to its own meter. so what happens when I add the load of 800 watts this thing is supposed to be able to handle? I have not tested it yet but if you do the Math.... the numbers do not add up. I like everything else about it though. I just dont think will handle the 800 watts load for much more than 5 minutes. If someone knows better please let me know.
