APC is a trusted brand when it comes to surge protection outlets and such. I couldn't and glad I didn't miss out on the deal when this was on sale last month; ended up buying 3 of them. I have a lot of electronics at home and pretty much only willing to spend large money on electronics, especially my gaming and computer system at home. So to err on the safe side, I would never want any of them to fry during a storm or if a circuit gets shorted. These outlets and surge protectors are great and convenient in their designs. I especially like the device holding design of the surgearrest outlet which holds my phone and/or my external battery pack in place while charging them.

The surge protectors really help for protect pretty much all of your electronics. These surge protectors gave me some assurance that my devices wouldn't be fried in case of a an surge from the wall. I really like the USB ports in it so I can charge my mobile devices.

Both pieces work fine and the price is unbeatable. USB ports are charging fast - it says 2.1A total, so I assume 700mA each when using all three and 2.1A when using only one. Seems like it by charging times. But no proof, I couldn't figure it out. The long one has outlets placed vertically. It makes things really complicated when you need to plug large adapters in. You can only use two outlets out of six. Besides that 5-stars.

Overall, I'm very happy and impressed with these power strips, but there are some major design flaws in both. The receptacles are FAR TOO close to each other and it makes plugging regular two prong plugs in each socket a challenge at times. If your two prong has ANY extra trim around the outside, they may not fit next to each other. That aside, the USB with high enough AMPs for fast charging and a place to set your phone, have been a wonderful surprise. So far this monsoon season has been bad, but every power outage thus far hasn't caused one issue with devices.

When the combination travel surge protector and home surge protector was on the deal of the day, it happened to be perfect timing for my needs. I'm so glad about the timing on this as I'd been looking to buy more surge protectors for my home. I trust APC with their backup battery surge protectors, so there was no reason to hesitate on this purchase. The travel surge protector, while not the slimmest design, it's still ideal for those that need something that will accomodate all of their multiple devices that they might have with them, on the go. For me, this allows me to charge my laptop, as well as my phone and tablet, but also has a stand for convenient computing. I'd even recommend this at the regular price, but if Best Buy has another 9.99 deal, I'd definitely recommend not hesitating to purchase.

Apc is one of the best surge protectors you can buy. This combo is awesome for anyone today. USB charging and surge protection in one package. Great for anyone who travels with a laptop any any other mobile device.

This is actually worth having. It's 2 separate products. One is the standard strip and the other offers options for USB ports and the ability to have your phone or other small device on a stand holder on the side.

This surge protector has been of great use for my systems and TV. The USB port feature is great in charging my Apple products as well. The offer for this product was great so I couldn't pass it up!

I have used the bigger one before, so I knew it was a good product, but I am very impressed with the smaller unit. This was the main reason I bought this unit because it has the 2 usb spots for it.

These APC surge protectors were on special at a great price. They are basic but good quality. The USB charging ports on the 3-outlet protector come in handy, especially for guests. Great service from Best Buy. Shipping was free and the package came early.

I bought this combo pack at an outstanding price and I love it. I wish I could buy another one at that price. The chargers/surge protectors are working well for me.

As advertised, great to have new power strips that offers USB power ports. Still great despite the SurgeArrest does not have an on-off switch.

The 3 outlet one is more useful of the 2. The regular power strip is very basic and isn't good if you have to plug in any power bricks. For the sale price though, it was completely worth it.

The power strips worked great. They are prefect for charging our android and ios phones and tablets with the usb ports.

Two surge protectors for the price of one and the table one has ish ports which is great.

As the deal of the day for $9.99 you can't go wrong. Bought 2 and very pleased.

This product is really useful for my daily life since it doesn't require me to use my wall plugs for my usb chargers. There are so many of them too so theres enough for all my gadgets. It doesn't hurt that there is a desktop one and another one that is only for plugs. It would help more if there were usb plugs available on both power strips. Other than that, it is a solid product. The boxy power box does get easily scratched on the side note!

i leave this on my nightstand so i can charge my laptop and my phone. works great for that purpose so i don't need a long cord.
