Versatile Surge Protectors

The 6-outlet strip is pretty standard for a surge protector, but the 3-outlet version has the additional 3 USB ports which come in very handy to charge iDevices and other USB powered gadgets. The built-in stand is also useful to keep an iPad elevated while charging, though at the expense of making the 3-outlet version a bit bulkier than I would have liked.

The product has a solid build quality, and the 3 USB ports on the 3-outlet protector allows me to charge my phone, tablet, and even my smartwatch all on my bedside table. Worthwhile purchase.

They deliver the absolute minimum amperage available for charging your devices. Devices detect the strip at "USB Charging" speeds, which is anywhere between 0.5A - 1.5A. If you want your iPad or phone charged inside of 24 hours, you'll want to use an A/C adaptor capable of at least 2.1 amps.
