This works great with my TV or my computer. My computer is energy efficient so depending on your build you might need a bigger VA Battery Back-Up

Is it only me facing this coz I have a spectrum, netgear & arlo power adapters and ALL 3 have the plug points perpendicular to the length of the adapter, and the way the APC outlets are designed I can only utilize 3 of the 6 outlets. See pics. I've had a Cyberpower previously and that was designed so I can utilize all 6 in the way the outlets are laid out.

This back up battery is a little bulky however it can accommodate up to five plugs. It was very easy to set up and so far has been functioning very well.

APC - BACK- UPS 450VA! Good capacity, number of outlets, I also like it because the outlets are located on the top and that makes it easy to place behind the desk and takes up less space

Perfect sized UPS for keeping my internet FIOS running regardless of house power etc.

Compact enough to place on a shelf. But powerful enough to provide uninterrupted power to your most important low wattage devices. I have my modem, router, and network attached storage plugged into mine. And still have room for additional devices. Also means that in a power outage, I'll still have Internet.

Back UPS has given me peace of mind for all my computer needs.

I already have one, but when lightning struck near my house and this surge protector/battery backup held its ground against the phenomenon, I literally switched all my surge protectors to this one. The only downside it’s that the light of the power button cannot be dimmed or turn off

For the price and what I need, you can't beat this item! I just want to prevent my computers from crashing if the electricity were to cut off all of a sudden, which seems to happen a few times a year (storms, car wrecks, etc.) I need to plug in my PC, LCD screen, bose speakers, and my gaming console. I bought two to serve the different areas in my upstairs living rooms.

Bought the battery backup due to power fluctuations due to hurricane María aftermath in the Island. So far it has been a superb purchase taking care of variation in voltage. Features have been helpful identifying current changes.

APC - Back-UPS 450VA 6-Outlet Battery Back-Up and Surge Protector The only way I knew to review and test this UPS was to plug a few items into it and then pull the plug to the UPS and analyze the results. The unit is not overly large or heavy and has six outlets in which devices can plug into. I had 5 devices during the test: Cable Modem Router Wireless Network Extender 17" Dell Laptop HP Duplex Laser Printer All items were plugged into the UPS, I printed 5 pages from the laptop. The power lasted for 20 minutes with power to spare. With the items plugged into it, there would be enough time to finish a vital function like a needed report, save files and power down the pc, and close the internet equipment until the primary power would be restored. This UPS did what it was designed to do concerning back up power. As far as surge protection, I am not aware of how to test for that. This product worked to my satisfaction. I would recommend it to anyone who is working from home or anyone who would like to utilize this type of product. Often, the power blinks or goes out for a few seconds. This unit powered my office home equipment for 20 minutes and there was still power to spare.

This APC battery backup solution designed for home network works pretty well as advertised. The device itself is not really that large and it is not heavy at all for being a backup battery. This not only works as a battery backup but also as a surge protector. It has 6 outlets all 6 are surge protected but only 4 will use the battery backup feature. It is rated at 450VA and 255 watts and only works on 120V connection not 240. The battery is said to run up to 2.1 hours if you connect a router and modem. I simulated a power outage using my laptop and a smartphone. The laptop brick outputs 65W and 19.9V which is more than the 10 watts the manufacturer suggests for this battery to last 2.1 hours. I used one of the Apple slow brick chargers to charge my phone. It was 35% battery when I plugged it in. The battery did last a little over two hours, the laptop was fully charged and the phone was 96%. That being said, this battery may last little more than suggested or less depending on your setup. It is a great idea behind this to connect your router and modem, if the power goes out at least you can still be connected to the internet. It’s also good for connected homes such as smart hubs. You may still control some of your devices if they work on battery of course. This battery pack is so light that it can be hung on the wall. On the back of the device it has two screw holes so it can be hung. There’s no science to using this, just plug it to the wall and let it be. Before using it you have to plug the safety breaker that's on the bottom of the device. It would be nice if the battery could last longer but for the price it is not a bad deal and from a respected brand like APC, this is their field. Something else to mention there’s no USB sockets in this device. In the box you get the battery backup surge and manual.
