It helps to cool off the upstairs. We have central air but the register is near the front of the room we put it in so near the back of the room there was no circulation and this window air conditioner helps to move the air around

A great movie that depicts the actual events that transpired on Apollo 13 and the hurdles they faced in order to return back to earth alive. Great having this in 4K quality and with steelbook edition. A must have for everyone!

This incredible true story of the events that transpired during the Apollo 13 mission is a testament to the amazing intelligence that three intuitive NASA astronauts had during a catastrophic electrical failure in space. Full of constant thrills, each problem solved, causes numerous more. Definitely a movie to watch.

Wanted this movie for a long time. Got it in less than a week. I want a movie I always start with bestbuy and have no reason to look further. I get what I want quickly and safely. I'm so glad I found them as a DVD source.

This is my favorite movie of all time. It's not only a great story of courage, survival, team work and ingenuity, it's also a true story. I was always fascinated with the moon missions and you couldn't make up a better story than the one of Apollo 13, and it actually happened.

One of Ron Howard's best work. He did an excellent job in recreating a very memorable time in space travel. You can feel the tension in the situation, and feel the relief when the astronauts splash down. A must have in your movie collection. Lift off is the perfect test for a new surround sound system.

I had forgotten how good this movie was. Excellent acting from so many - both those portraying the astronauts and the NASA personnel. Crisp scripting keeps the story suspenseful and fast paced. The fact that it is a true story adds a measure of impact as well. Well worth watching!

The movie itself looks incredible, but the case was cracked and there’s a chunk missing out of it.

No really this stuff actually happened. This and the The Right Stuff shows us how far we have fallen in out quest to push the boundries of our world. People had to build stuff in space to save their own lives, these were real heros. Good reference material for your HD display.

This is now my third version of this movie. Awesome surround, great picture and I love the way the story is told.

This blu-ray really brings this movie to life. I hadn't seen it since the theatrical release, but I enjoyed it very much. Good acting, and a great story of a very forgotten near miss of tragedy in the space program. A great story of what people can accomplish if they focus on a goal.

An engrossing movie is made even better by this newly-remastered version which is head and shoulders above any prior editions. Tom Hanks has turned in many memorable performances, with this one at or near the top of the list. This is moviemaking at its finest and a must-have classic.

I enjoy historical movies. This movie I believe stayed close to the facts of the Apollo 13 incident. It is a tribute to those involved in our early space program. I was a young man when Apollo 13 happened and this movie brought men back to that time.

This has to be one of Tom Hanks best performances. The movie and plot is amazing. The quality of the picture far exceeds my dvd version. Sounds is spot on and sounds amazing with a good sound system. Very happy and impressed all around with this gem.

I already owned the 15th anniversary blu Ray and upgraded to this 20th anniversary edition when I caught it marked down cheaper. One of the few times I've upgraded an existing Blu that it's been worth it for the picture and sound quality upgrade and special features. Recommended.

i had heard Apollo 13 mentioned throughout the years but I really never knew what it was all about. I was just a young teenager at the time and when I saw this DVD at best buy I picked it up so I could learn about the story of Apollo 13. It was an excellent movie.

Wow one fine movie and it is enjoyable for all ages too watch I highly recommend it trust me it’s an awesome movie I won’t tell what it’s about just buy it you will not regret it am 100% satisfied

Just upgraded to the 4K version of this movie, and really enjoyed the viewing and listening experience. The video transfer is pleasing, with minimal grain and natural colors. The sound field was more balanced, with full bass response that didn't overpower midrange. The result was a rich and immersive viewing experience.
