Had a problem with the charger in my car being too long and getting wet on the floor mat. This shorter charger is perfect and will not get wet!!

Works just like the original. For the most part that is a good thing but only time will tell. All the Apple chargers I have ever owned perform well for about the first six months. The drawback to them is that over time they deteriorate quickly around the connections. I’m very surprised Apple has not correct this issue because it is a common problem with all their chargers. This charger is the perfect length for small cars.

I was unable to access my car play navigation in my vehicle since the USB cord I was using was a Verizon product and not an Apple product. Since using the Apple product I can now see Waze/Google maps onscreen. Soooo much easier to get to unfamiliar places w/o looking at my phone.

Bought this to use Apple CarPlay and it's the perfect length -- long enough to view the phone screen when stopped and short enough to stay out of the way while driving.

purchase this cord to use in my auto so it is in place of a longer cord it does its function for me

The cord is kind of short but I’m using it in my car so it works. I always generally buy apple products to go with my accessories. Retry good buy and it has been getting its use.

It's worth it to me to pay slightly more to have a true Apple product with definite Apple connectivity, quality, and longevity.

Great cord length for inside the car when you don’t need a longer cable getting in your way. Only thing that worries me is the durability, since the Apple cable seem to get damaged in time. Luckily I take good care of my electronics and accessories, so they last longer for me than most apparently. Thanks

The lightning wire charger is the best charger I have had. It charges everything I have fast and easy.

Great little cable for right spaces. I use it in my care quite frequently for hooking up my iPhone to listen to music as well as books.

Too small I would’ve got a larger one for the price I was being cheap and not spending that money. I don’t know why it would take that cord to make it be so expensive when after a year they were out..
