    There is nothing wrong with the charging cord except there should have been bigger writing on the box stating that it was only 18" long. And it was the same price as the longer ones so i didn't pickup on the difference until it was torn open.

    In the effort to save a few dollars I bought some cables for $5. (You get the inference) That $5 was a complete waste of money. Just do the right thing and spend a few dollara more on the right cable. It you spent over $1000 on a phone just spend a couple bucks more at Best Buy and get the right product the first time.

    I purchased this charging cable to replace one that wore out (hence the four star rating). I buy Apple cables because I've had reliability issues with third-party cables. I buy them as stocking stuffers during the holidays because Best Buy has run a 25% off three accessories during the holiday season. These cables are rarely on sale, so getting them at 25% off is a nice savings.

    It’s the original iPhone charger just much shorter but it still does the job, it’s better to use original chargers as the after market ones make my phone glitch out

    I didn't realize my cable is only .5M long despite it being the same price was if it was 1MM. It's expensive and these cable break frequently. However, they are still better than non-Apple products
