I picked this up to do Apple Car Play without having a bunch of extra cording in the front cluttering up the car on long trips. So, far, it's surviving these heatwaves, but I don't know how it will hold up in the winter.

Perfect length for my car, nothing to crazy long that tangles and gets damaged

I bought this when I realized that I hadn't packed the charger for my iPad. I was able to plug it into the USB of my Samsung charger and it worked great for the iPad. This is also small enough that I will always be able to keep it with my travel gear without using valuable space.

Sometimes you don’t need an extra long charging cable to charge your phone. This size works perfect for use in my car and with my portable charger. It’s an official Apple product so I know it’s safe to use and it won’t poop out after a week or two.

OEM apple usb wire is always reliable. Yes it is pricey but the quality and build is just way better than those cheap ones you find at amazon. I tried those and It just couldn't match apple’s. I guess you get what you paid for.

Bought this for my car to charge my iPhone. Wanted a short cable as all the others I own are too long to have in the car. Works great a bit spendy though. My phone unfortunately doesn't like to charge when using generic cables.

Short USB for connecting my phone for the car. It’s exactly what I wanted. No long cord getting caught on everything. I highly recommend it! And it’s short so the teenagers don’t “accidentally” take it inside the house. ; )

Cord works as it should. Kind of annoying because it's so short. Only bought this size because of the astronomical prices of the longer ones. Why does apple brand need to be so darn expensive?

works great - too bad Apple rips off their customers by not having these items with a universal socket and instead you have to buy from them at an inflated price!

My wife has several different cables of varying lengths, but they were all too long to use in the kitchen when she was using her iPad to view menus. This short cable was perfect to put the iPad near the prep area and have it charging.

I needed a short lighting cable to use in the car and this fit the bill. In typical Apple fashion, extremely expensive for what it is, but it does exactly what it says it does and is the length I needed. Great and not great at the same time.
