This is the same charger that came with my iPad, but I bought it to have a second charger for my iPhone. It is a rapid charger.

Excellent fast charging Power Adapter. Apple shoud have included it with all of its cameras instead of the 5 watt units which work but are slower.

I learned that this 12W power adapter charges my ipod touch twice as fast as the 5W adapters. It is definitely worth having two of them--one for my ipad and one for my ipod, especially when traveling.

Fast 12v charging of my iPhone and ipads' batteries. Only thing keep from 5 stars is that it's a bit big and there may not be room for some other plugs at a standard outlet.

I was using an off brand USB power adapter and was receiving poor results. The BestBuy tech pointed this out and set me up with the correct adapter and now I have excellent results.

I use my plug everyday to keep my IPad charged. It does an excellent job. Because the prongs fold into the unit, it would be very easy to take on vacations.

What can i say, it is the original charger that came with my ipad. I did like however that if you purchase this in a bundle that you save some money. Pretty good deal.

As with the accompanying lightening cable, I purchased a cheaper version at another store and the adapter kept failing. I returned to Best Buy, bought the Apple 12W USB Adapter. I've had NO PROBLEMS.
