This charger works perfectly. It's more expensive that the knock-offs, but worth it. I've found that Apple accessories always work better and longer with iPhones and iPads than the cheaper, substitute brands, including those that are supposedly certified.

Don't buy the cheap knockoffs that will only last a couple weeks. Get the real deal and know your device will connect and charge properly. The way that a power brick like this delivers power can make a huge difference in charging speed and how quickly the device might wear out.

Tried other ones but apple outlasts. Very happy with this plug for ipad, iphone and ipod. I have tried less costing plugs but was not happy with their plug’s performance. Love Apple products, have been happy with Apple’s performance. Thank you.

My son uses ipad with his school and he let a kid that did'nt have his charger use his and the young man did'nt give it back i let my son borrow mine which he lost so went best buy ask the young man to help me took me to what i needed bought both pieces got home it work

Whenever we'd notice our iPad wasn't charging as well as it use to we'd replace the adapter, or the charging cord, with one of those colorful ones, you can find on practically every store counter. They'd work BUT the connection between the cable and adapter would get VERY hot & still wasn't giving us the same charge strength. When you have electronics you use regularly, don't go for cheap. Go for quality. Charging speed is just like new, using original Apple peripherals.

This apple power adapter, is better than the small one that comes with ipad mini's and iphones 5 and 6. It fully charge the devices in half the time than the one provided. The difference in size is insignificant. I totaly reccomend this adapter for all apple mobile devices

iPad just won't charge well with just any power block. Was a bonus that I found this one at a discount because the box was damaged. Works great and my daughter isn't perpetually asking me for mine now!

Had bought a refurbished iPad a few years ago and it came with some knock off power brick. It sucked. Had to ditch it and get a proper Apple power brick. Works much better. Charging time way faster.

I picked up one when we were out of town and needed another one to charge our iPad. This also works well for charging iPhones as well. This adapter really should be bundled with iPhones instead of the under-powered ones they come with.

I got one of these when I bought my iPhone, but some how mine was misplaced. I bought another one to help charge my phone faster like before, works perfectly like the first one! Which, I found after a few days.. either way now I have a back up one! So..no worries!! If you want an adapter that helps charge your phone, iPad, or any item in need of a charge, go out and buy this today!! You won’t regret it, and the price isn’t bad at all!! Only problem is Apple can’t be price matched easy like other items in store.

I thought it's gonna be expensive just like any other apple stuff but I find it cheap for 19 dollars. It's small and fast charger perfect for my iPad and iPhone.

I have purchased many adapters and cables that are not genuine Apple products & they all fail 2 weeks later. This Apple adapter works great & charges my iPad Air & iPhone6 so fast! Yes, the adapter gets hot. However last time I checked, there is electric flowing through the adapter. Just like a light bulb or TV, anything with an electric currant flowing through it can get hot. I have used the same adapter for 2 years so it last long & gets the job done! I just wish Apple would make fashionable versions so there are choices other than just white. I highly recommend this adapter as it is very efficient and at just $19 USD it is very affordable. Thank you! Team Apple all day

No need to pay more for the more amps to charge this thing does it fast enough. If your on a budget and in need of an apple product...this is it! Don't be the off brand...stick with the name.

I have purchased other chargers that are not Apple certified and regret the decision. They quickly stop working, so I stick with the more expensive, reliable chargers. This one is also a faster charger than the small block plug.

The main reason I bought this was for my girlfriend to charge her phone faster, because she lost the original adapter. I should have read liked she would probably lose this one as well - now I'm out more money. Product is great though...

I purchased this to use with the longer 6 foot lightening cord. I like to have an extra for when I travel. I use this with my phone and iPad. Love having the convenience of an extra power adapter and lightening cord.
