Since this is a genuine Apple product, you can trust it to work just fine, which it did. Glad I didn't risk it buying a knock-off for cheaper.

Dont waste your money on knockoffs. Some of them do not charge your Apple devices correctly. This is fastest and best!

I wanted to keep two chargers available so i purchased an extra adapter and power cord. I have to replace the power cord every year due to the children's bending of the cord and the wiring showing through. Ordering from a mail order site you get a cheaper cost, but you run two risks. One, it may not be the right item for your tablet. And returns are a hassle. Not so at Best Buy. Two, it may not be an official Apple product that can hurt your device. I was in a hurry..it was in stock at Best Buy in the Apple department. That's where I could dream of the Mac Daddy!

This adapter is great at charging my iPad Pro and my iPhone XS Max! I am very happy with my purchase! I own 4 of these.

This converts the power and regulates the charge to the iPad. I needed one and it's fine. I don't have a lot of WOW praise for it. It does what it's supposed to. I tend to stick with Apple products for use with Apple products. That makes them expensive, but dependable at least. It's a power adaptor. If you need it, get it.

This is the OEM Apple charger. It works very well. I like the way the prongs that go into the electrical outlet fold up when it is not in use.

The only complaint I have is that the charger that came with my ipad2 broke in the first place. This new device seems slightly smaller and works great.
