This plug charges the IPhone with twice the speed of the cube charger. It's a must have if you need to charge in a hurry. I have two at home and one in my purse in case I run short of battery life.

Crazy fast charger! I love the switch to USB C. Even on my old iPhone, it charges very fast.

The adapter works as intended. It was purchased for use while traveling as a backup device. It heats up some but not significantly enough for concern.

The new iPhones support fast charging. If your phone’s battery goes down, it will recharge. I had to use to recharge by phone after being on a charging pad all night. It did the job and I had my phone for the day.
