I like it because it charges my phone fast and it's the Apple brand

This is an apple offi divice which is traditionally sold at the apple store for under 20 bucks. This i got using my rewards so it was basically free.

Quite pricey!

But this obviously is more about making profits than saving the environment. In addition, what they're selling at this price in comparison to what the others have to offer is ridiculous. The least Apple can do is to keep it up to date with the others.

Heck of a great/fast charger

Yes it’s not ideal that you have to buy this thing separate but you will notice a huge difference in the charging speed. I have not noticed any heat build up even with my case on it. Also have tried with my 10.5 iPad Pro an ya it charges pretty fast. I know it’s apple and you pay for it but everyone this is worth the money.
