    I've never had a bad experience with an Apple wall adapter and some of the ones I own are over 10 years old. All and all, worth the extra cost for the piece of mind for me.

    This is a necessity if you have the MagSafe charging puck. It works with the combo Apple iPhone and AppleWatch portable charger as well as the USB-C cord that comes with the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro.
