It charges my iPhone much faster than the old 5W adapter — I can go from nearly dead to 50% in around 25–30 minutes, which is a lifesaver when I’m rushing out the door. This works better than any other charger plug I’ve used. It charges faster than plug-in outlets with the usb slots included. In fact, my hubby borrows mine when he needs a fast charge. Don’t waste your time with bargain chargers. Just get this the first time and be done with it!

These chargers are way better and faster than the old 5 watt and they don’t heat up my iPhone 13 Pro very much at all. For overnight charging the 5 watt is still better, but I love to have these for quickly getting me above 80% when I’m in a hurry. I bet that this will still be a perfect charger for the 16 Pros and 17 Pros in a year or 2 when the faster chargers come out because it will still charger fast but not heat up the phones as much as the 30 or 40 watt chargers that those phones will likely support. Works great to fast charge my Apple Watch Series 7 also with little heat and oddly less heat than the older slower Apple Watch chargers.
