I bought it because the phone came with the USB-C cable which will not work with my USB adapters. The phone charges fine with the USB cable and the USB adapter but if I need a faster charge I can use the USB-C cable and USB-C adapter.

The cost of the adapter is reasonable and I was able to get it without any problems.

Whatever- I needed it so it is what it is
