    I’ve always used Apple power supplies from about5 years ago prior to which I’ve had a couple “Brand-X” fail on me. The new Apple c-power supplies work with the newer devices & iOS systems to actually turn down or turn off the transformer to lessen the battery over-charging.

    All in all, pretty disappointing that Apple only sends you the charging cord without the charging “cube” with new Apple product purchases, but I was without a cord for a few months and when upgrading to the iPhone 11 (and only having the charging cord that comes in the box) found it incredibly convenient for Best Buy to carry certified Apple products. I’m sure this charging “cube” holds up well - this review is merely a rating of convenience.
