Its true only 15watt effectiveness will be applied when charging especially with new Qi magsafe for the new iphone 12 series. Even more so than other third party adaptors advertising higher wattage. Its all about compatibility.

Purchase Apple products from a trusted store

I ordered a few on Amazon and regretted it. They don't last, they're fake. Ordered this from Best Buy for a couple dollars more and have zero issues.

Great adapter!

It also charges my husband's Iphone 8. It was the only adapter we brought with us to Mexico and it worked great.
