Continue to use the lower wattage charger from your old phone or invest in a new one. For a minimal expense, this charger is worth getting. First, there is a USB-C port on the charger, so you’ll need to use the USB-C/Lightning cable provided with the new phone or tablet. If you are using the old charger that doesn’t have the USB-C connector, you’ll need to revert back to your old lightning cable as well. That said, this new charger, paired with the USB-C cable, has the same lightning connector at the other end so you can use it with all your older devices. Now the best news—it is fast! At 20 W of power, your phone will be charged in no time. I have been using this charger for over a year and have been very pleased with the performance. Just purchased another one as a gift to our son for his new phone.
