    Purchased this adapter knowing MagSafe charger was the way to go for me. It may seem like one more thing on the list that you need to buy in order to have the charger, but it is worth it in the end.

    I got this because I was using an after market charger and I wasn't getting a full charge. Apple seems to have software that recognizes it's licensed products and will keep aftermarket things like cords and bricks from charging your Apple devices fully or in a timely manner so You should buy once and cry once to get the optimal charge your battery's require.
