There are cheaper solutions but why take a chance with possibly inferior products?

Worth it for traveling

I do not always have my computer when traveling. It is nice to have when traveling. Works great.

worked great for 2 months and then kaput.

It had been sitting in a power strip for a month straight at least. Apple sent a new one for free and it arrived within a few days. Only guess as to why it died was the end of the cable which was plugged into the adapter was on the couch. And I vacuumed my office that day including the couch. And perhaps that caused some static electricity or shock to it as it was still plugged into the power strip. That was the only out of place external factor that occurred this same day. Or maybe it I won the lemon lottery on this product. Kudos to Apple for the quick replacement. A bit of hassle on the phone with someone from India to replace. It was over the holidays though.

Apple Watch Charger

Was disappointed that the magnetic charger is a C connection. Had to buy this adapter to charge the watch. Apple should provide this charger.

Could have gotten a cable instead
