    My first Mac was purchased in 1983, in 2015 I replaced my then current iMac of 11 years. Now after 27 months, my Apple 21.5 " Intel iMac gave out with a display failure. Repair centers told me it was too expensive to repair and just buy another.

    This iMac replaced a 2006 imac. The screen is bigger than my 17" and great for streaming video. The 500 gb hard drive is adequate.

    The iMac is very user friendly. The desktop is not cluttered up by a million icons that people never use like the the Windows computers are.
