The mouse is to slick. The keyboard is too small. Very disappointed.

This is my first iMac and I am impressed. Good value for the price.

Good PC, it servies the purpose. The PC takes a little getting use.

I purchased this at Best Buy during the black friday special. I was a little skeptical at first because I realized that this was not the original base model with the quad core for a great price, but nonetheless an apple computer for less then one thousand is a fantastic deal. I did plenty of research before opening the computer up and decided that despite it not having the original power specs that I had thought, it would be an adequate home computer. I use my computers basically for web surfing, email, and youtube videos. This computer more then met my expectations especially considering the price. I have had no issues with speed and 500 GB is more then I probably will ever need as long as I continue to put my pictures on an external drive. I upgraded from a mid 2009 macbook pro(which still works find by the way) and I couldn't be happier. This computer is blazingly fast, and of course easy to use especially if you are used to apple products. Do yourself and spend the money on apple, they will last much longer, have great product support, and are just plain easy to use. If you do a lot of video editing and gaming you might want to consider the next model up with the quad core, but basic needs this will more than suit your needs.

I really waited along time for this purchase. Wish I done more research . Asked best buy associates had little knowledge of computer.

I have had to get service twice in the first month. Once all gets tuned up I think I will be happy with.

I am still learning a lot about the new APPLE computer. So far it is working great and I love it.

Would have liked to received more instructions -first Mac owned==much different from previous.

The Apple iMax that I purchased is very difficult to learn to use. I am not certain that this is the correct product for me.

It's very easy to set up. Saves a bunch of space and it's pretty fast. So glad best buy had it for the best price. It connects to wifi almost instantly. Monitor is the only thing that will need to be plugged in.I will purchase my laptop here as well.

I was ready to run it over with the car the first few days so I researched and went into BB and happened to catch the Apple rep. He told me to bring it back and I changed it out. It wouldn't hold the wifi and didn't load properly. I mainly use it for research, pictures and few emails. My issue is the nice big screen is big but the print is so small. Even though you can zoom, it doesn't hold and changing the resolution reverts back to the default when you change screens. The photo app changed when it was updated and I am not finding it user friendly yet. It has a lot of useless apps I will never use (same as windows) and neither have any real programs installed. That being said, it loads fast and just takes a little getting used to. I had some issues but found the settings and it won't be going on the driveway. I also bought a 8.2 a few weeks ago and am finding this a favorite.. It only took a couple weeks to remember why I was fed up with windows. That one is slowing down already and locks up with updates and the i.e.. It would be love if not for the sizing. I found the same complaints on different sites along with the wifi issue. This one hasn't lost a connection yet so it looks like a keeper.

I'm a huge Apple fan. You get what you pay for, and with this you pay for the perfect computer. I looks great. It works great. It ties all my Apple products together. It is the best bang for your buck, if you have enough buck to spend. You can buy a PC that will last for a few years, or splurge and buy Apple and keep it for much, much longer. Awesome.

I ask salesman about it and AOL he told me it would be fine thats not true and its slow and I lost a lot of things because it does not like AOL software. I am disabled or I would have taken it back but with my medical condition hard to get around.

I was originally planning on buying a macbook pro, but when I got a look at this in the store my plans changed. I love the sleek look and wide screen. It was easy set up right out of the box ready.
