    I love the display on this iMac. the speed is great. I thought it would be slow like crazy with the 5400rpm hard drive but the computer seems to have no trouble once you get it booted up and working.

    Absolutely love this iMac. Only problem is still has a HDD I believe spending this kind of money a SSD should be standard practice. Otherwise absolutely love it. Definitely recommend.

    Don't get this without an SSD. Mac OS basically runs so slowly without an SSD that the machine is practically unusable. If you have one of these and it's really slow - buy an external SSD and install the os to run to boot from it. Speeds the machine up about 10,000%. Seriously. It's hundreds of times faster with the SSD. I don't know why Apple would sell a machine without one.
