This computer hangs up and slows me down, thinking about trading it for the better model I'm an apple fanatic and this is very disappointing.

This is by far the slowest machine I ever owned. I'm serious. Do you need to start the computer? At least 7 minutes before it is ready to use. Are you going to open Photoshop? Save a prayer. Adobe Premier - forget it - 3 minutes music video will take you one whole year to edit. Oh, I forget to mention: when you're going to update you Mac OSX the next and last thing you're going to see is big questions mark instead of the Apple Icon. Do not buy this computer and save yourself some life time.

Good product for the price. Needed memory for video and music.

Easy to walk into - without much computer background.

Slowest computer I’ve ever owned. Was so excited to have a Mac but it has never worked quickly- never! I’ve tried everything to make it faster. Now it’s a continuous lesson in patience. So frustrating

I was talked into purchasing an iMac over a windows computer by 2 different geeks in the BB store. I am not happy that I listened to them. The iMac does not perform any better than a windows computer and is much harder to get programs on that I want. Would not recommend this product.

The iMac is an awesome all in one computer. I love it.

Always wanted an IMAC and it has not disappointed.

I have had Macs for several years and in the past few years the number of bugs has increased noticeably. I had to spend days on the phone with customer service just to transfer my data from my old Mac.

Problems: slowness, becomes dysfunctional after sleeping for a while. Takes too long to wake up. Had to spend many hours on the phone with applecare and it still isn't functioning properly.

It runs slow. To fix the issue for now it is running on a external ssd because I have apple care. Once Apple care is gone I will be upgrading it with a ssd and more ram. For the price that I paid, it should have a internal SSD.

This Mac is not good for people who like to open and work on several pages at one time. It freezes up on me all the time. Sometimes even on YouTube with multiple videos in the queue.

Well, I new before purchasing this had a 5400 rpm sata hard drive installed and was expecting a little slower boot time and application response, but this thing is slow! nearly 2 minutes to boot. I don't understand with the price of SSD drives, being relatively inexpensive why Apple continues to charge so much for them pre-installed. I returned the iMac and purchased a 2018 Mac Mini.

With no documentation or instruction, it's impossible to tell if I like the computer or don't. It did not fully get through the on-screen instructions to boot-up, and I had to load it and go back to have the Geek Squad go through it. It didn't even show the model name or number to ID it. Machine still has the sharp edges on the bottom which scratch the back of your hand when 'mousing'. I don't know the rest of it yet. Have had it a week and can't get past the password screen. I'm sure it'll be fine when I an get things working. I've used Macs exclusively since the early 80's.

Shape is good and monitor graphic is nice, but it is really slow when I open any program even though booting. If you think about speed, you should buy upgrade version.

Way too tall. And no adjustment options? My husband had to shorten our table. The silver band at the bottom makes it even worse. That should have been at the top. Not everyone is the same height.

I love the computer. Some wiring issue where the plug comes into the monitor. From time to time the computer shuts off. I have to wiggle the wire a little to get it to come back on.

Keyboard and mouse disconnect and will not reconnect after imac has been asleep
