Great unit-easy to set up and start using.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been a Windows user all my computer life and at age 72 decided to change to Apple System due to issues with Windows 8/10 operating systems. Have found the unit easy to use and set up. The Apple Help Desk was great and help was provided to resolve my questions. My primary system use is for internet and Word/Excel/Power Point and this unit has been great for those applications. I did install Apple version of Word/Excel to ease the learning curve because of all the documents I had in my files. Can't say how it would perform for any heavy technical applications.

I still think this will be worth it in the long run.

Nice upgrade from older iMac
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My 10 year year iMac finally died and so I shopped around for a new iMac and after reading many reviews I purchased the new 21.5" iMac with the retina display. The one real issue is the very slow hard drive, and it's slow to say the least. My older iMac was faster.

When it got time to replace my desktop I knew I wanted Apple. We own several Apple products ranging from I phones to Mac Book to I pads and we never have the issues we have had with other products. The easy set up was amazing. You basically just plug it in and follow the instructions. It took me longer to unplug the old desktop! It is fast, the image is super sharp and ...it looks beautiful! We had a few questions and contacted Apple support online via chat. Very easy and convenient.

Great product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My wife wanted to get an iMac, and while I wanted to get the high end 27 inch with all the bells and whistles, we wanted to keep cost down. We choose the 23 inch with the 1 TB drive (spinning, not SSD) and the upgraded display. The display is amazing and while I thought it would be much slower with the spinning hard drive, it has impressed me by the amount of time it takes to do something. It's much faster than one would expect, but not yet on par with an SSD drive. If you are looking for a family machine on a budget, this is the one to get.

Switched from a PC

Every other device in the house was Apple so decided to make the switch. Do not regret it. Integrated with wireless printer I purchased easily.
