Great overall performance for the price. The box includes the iMac, Magic Mouse 2, Magic Keyboard, and all necessary cables. The set up is incredibly easy and any Apple user should be familiar with it. I bought this mainly for office work and do not have any performance issues under normal use, however, for more graphically intensive tasks, I still prefer my MacBook Pro or higher end model of the iMac.

After about 25 years using a PC, I decided to switch after my last experience with a lemon of a laptop, and all the problems I had with Windows 10. This is my first Apple product, and I really like it. It's very user-friendly, and I love the big monitor. I love Safari, and the ability to combine my email accounts so that they all show up in one place. I'm not that impressed with "Pages," so I bought Office 2016 for Mac. There was a learning curve there, but not so much that I couldn't figure it out. At this point, I'm still having trouble being able to listen to my music I downloaded from my PC, but I'm sure Apple Support will be able to help me with that. The computer came with a keyboard and "magic mouse." While I like the mouse, I don't like the keyboard at all. If you have big hands, you'll probably like it fine, but if you have small hands, you'll probably have to buy another keyboard like I did. I got the Logitech illuminated keyboard for Mac, and it's much better for typing. Other than the keyboard, my only other complaint is that it's slower than my PC was, and that surprises me, especially for what this cost. However, I'll take slower in return for a computer working beautifully otherwise, and for great support. No more PC's for me!

Mac is fast with great picture. Easy to use and wireless mouse and key board are great.

I have had my iMac now for almost 3 years. It was my first iMac and it has totally won me over. I will never own another PC. It is much faster and easier to use. My husband use to get so mad when using the computer, now he is on it almost more than me and I very seldom hear a single complaint out of him. Very user friendly even for older computer challenged folks!

I absolutely love my iMac! I use it in a Master's program and for photo editing with Lightroom and Photoshop! The Retina display is amazing and the computer is super fast!

Bought this imac after making the switch from Windows with a Macbook (11") for school use. Began noticing that the macbook was very ineffective for occasional music production/recording. I had been eying a desktop Mac for some time and was considering the Mac Mini for a while but after reading reviews I decided to shell out the extra $$ and give the 4k iMac a try. I'm glad I did! I won't be redundant by saying the 4k screen is amazing (because it is. but you already know that) but I am also satisfied by it's speed. 8gb of RAM SEEMS like a cheat, but you gotta remember, iMacs and PC's differ in how they process their workloads. So assuming that 8gb of ram in this computer is gonna be hella slower than a PC with 12, or even 16gb of ram is kind of like saying the 12mp camera in the iPhone takes worse pictures than a 32mp Samsung Galaxy. The number may differ, but it's not grounds for inferior performance. Anywho, I am a casual desktop user (internet browser use/student work with microsoft office) and this definitely meets my personal needs. Very satisfied!
