    I preferred the previous material as it was easier to clean, this braided material will surely last longer, but it gets dirty very easily and is not as easy to clean. On the other hand, there are few cables that can truly handle the amount of watts to charge the computer and this one certainly does.

    Definitely a thicker more heavy-duty cable than the other. The extra 3-ft does make a difference.
