Good but not great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The hardware and basic OS (High Sierra) run well, but this iMac is not the flawless replacement for a PC that I had hoped: (1) While the bugs here are not as bad as with Win 10 (on my SSD PC) where, for example, Excel sometimes would not boot up, there are bugs. The Reminders, to take an example, do not always clear the notification number after the tasks are done and a system reboot is needed. (2) If you are a power user of MS Office -- say you you are writing very long documents, such as books with complex footnotes -- Office products do not run the same or quite as well on an Apple OS. This especially applies to OneDrive, which runs in a much diminished capacity through Apple, and may not run well enough for your work.
