the 27" is great

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace a 9-10 yr old iMac and am very happy with the new unit.. I had the Geek Squad clone my old machine onto this one for the sake of continuity (they were very good and quick). I use Parallels for and old version of XP, ( yes, I still use XP for an pair of old programs that are still some of the best offered)! If you're considering one of these, grab it while it's on sale..

LOVE the bigger screen!

I can have two separate windows open nearly the same size they would be be as "full screen" on a smaller monitor. The Retina display is beautiful and it really makes editing easy. The only con I have is that I really don't notice a difference in speed when I have multiple programs open, especially photoshop.

Great iMac, Upgrading from a 21.5 inch iMac

I really wanted to get a 4k Monitor, but I noticed none of my older Macs were compatible with the resolution. It was a nightmare trying to make external monitors work. I had a 21.5 inch iMac from 2013 that I loved, but I thought it would be nice to upgrade. Thankful I did. I love my 5k iMac. I got the Fusion drive and I have had no speed issues. Kind of feels like I do have an ssd.
