Seems comically big but the size really works well for comparing documents and having multiple programs open (email, internet, documents, etc). Very glad I made the choice for the 27”—I got sick of always having to switch between programs on the 21”.

This iMac is so fast, the screen is so big and beautiful. It is also extremely easy to upgrade the RAM from 8GB to 40GB, if you're comfortable with that sort of thing. Vastly improves this entry level computer for a lot cheaper than you'd get from Apple.

The new iMac has faster RAM and a better processor and is well worth the upgrade. The new P3 screen is amazing. If you’re use to a SSD hard drive then the fusion will seem a little slow at first. Once it learns your use patterns then it doesn’t speed up a bit. The new desktop class graphics card is a welcome improvement. Overall a great desktop.

Excellent computer, definitely worth it. I have been working from home for a whole year full time and this computer has saved my life. It has been extremely functional, super fast and useful. I would only recommend Apple to start making monitor displays to have dual monitors. I currently have an OLD OLD thunderbolt., It would be great to have a display monitor at a reasonable price and with the same screen quality I have with the iMac.

This is by far the best desk tops I’ve owned. It has very good speed, a great picture on the monitor and is very is to set up.

I was always used to using Windows computer and my husband and I decided to purchase a Mac and it was the best decision we made. This computer is user friendly and there is so much you can with it. Not to mention the screen is awesome.

I’m impressed with the speed of this computer. I bought it to replace my early 2009 Mac, although I will not retire it because it is also a great machine. I didn’t realize this Mac did not have a built in cd/dvd. Should have noticed because it’s so thin, but didn’t register. Another reason to keep old Mac. Huge bright screen. Everything loads so quickly. Magic Mouse works great, but wish it had a full numeric keyboard. Short one takes getting used to. Otherwise, looking forward to continuing my love affair with Macs.

All I've ever bought is Apple computers, this is my 3rd iMac purchase. Replaced my 2010 MacBook Pro, I wanted a new MacBook Pro, but didn't like they only have USB-c connection and would have to get a dongle, I did dongles on a 2000 Green iMac, and they never worked for my scanner, etc. this new 27" imac is way faster and less expensive than all my Apple computer purchases including my first 1995 Macintosh Perfoma 6116CD!

Upon purchase of my Imac, I really got to sit down with it and experience just how inferior windows really is. The Imac is very well constructed and I would expect nothing less from Apple. It is very user friendly and even though I was concerned about the transition from Windows to Mac, I'm still finding that the Imac is superior in every single aspect. It truly is nothing less than perfection. I can't believe that I waited this long to switch. Absolutely perfect in every aspect!

I just bought a new 27 inch iMac to replace a similar model that was purchased in 2010 and served me well for 8 years. The new iMac is faster, with a larger hard drive and is much more intuitive as far as the OS is concerned. The screen itself is much thinner than my older model, is much clearer and is far faster at processing. I'm sure that I will be enjoying many more years of service with this new iMac. I ordered it on Bestbuy.com and it was delivered in a timely manner.

Bought this for my office. The computer screen is large and has great resolution. Easy to set up and use immediately.

I've never owned any products from Apple. I was won over by the gorgeous resolution on the iMac screen. The images are so colorful and crisp. Still getting used to the transition from PC to Mac, but I really like the wireless keyboard and mouse. I don't have lots of component parts with the iMac, just the monitor and keyboard--no wires to mess with just a plug in to the wall and off you go. The 27" screen is so big I don't need my reading glasses. Very pleased with my purchase.

Even with the fusion drive, I've been very happy with this purchase. The i5 doesn't lag as much as I assumed it would. The ability to upgrade RAM later is a plus as the 8GB is ok, but feels it needs a little extra boost. DDR4 is pre-installed so it's good for a few more years and doesn't consume as much power. The 5k display is gorgeous, but unnecessary. It's pretty heavy, so moving it around may make you nervous.

This is my 4th iMac and first upgrade 6 years. I love how am iMac just works. Nothing to worry about, just plug in and your off! The display on this machine is big and beautiful. Don't hesitate, you will love it.

I've been a PC person all my life, I've never owned a Mac before. I've had my iPad and iPods, but never an actual computer. I love this one. I should have listened to my friends years ago, the Screen resolution is Beautiful! It's really fast and I can finally work on projects without waiting a long time for things to load. It did take a while to get used to the controls, coming from a PC, but you get used to it really quick. I love it!

the 27 inch screen seems larger than it really is and has great contrast. like the ease of adding ram as this came with 8gb will add at least 8 more. some difficulty setting up e-mail through charter cable but otherwise easy to set up...this is my first imac so more use is needed..

I actually replaced a Mac mini and MacBook Pro with this purchase and was blown away by the display quality (just as I was with MacBook Pro when I bought it 8 years ago.) The only disappointment is the slow boot-up which I thought would be faster with the larger processor and memory. But it's most capable of any task and has that "in your face" display!

I bought my I Mac 27 inch at a good price and it works really well. It is really useful and I would recommend it if you have kids so they can start to learn new things that can help them in their future.
