Like apple apple products, this is over priced and under specked. It’s is a $1800 computer that only has a i5 and a 8gb of ram. You can pickup a laptop for around three that has the i7 and 16 go of ram.

Product is okay - better deals after I bought it on other sites and other stores- no support on product after purchase having a few issues with it

This was my first Apple computer. I own an Apple phone. Coming from using Microsoft, I could not get used to it. Had to take it back

I expected to really love this but found it to be slower and way less user friendly than a windows pc.

These are so expensive. If you don't need to edit photos or movies, you don't need this.

Fell in love with the computer in store. All I wanted for the last year was to add a iMac to my Apple collection. I went in to my local store and was going to buy a new Mac but the salesman showed me a open box iMac (same one) for 250$ cheaper. So of course I bought it. Got home and set up was shot. I wasn’t able to even get the computer to get to the main screen for set up. Took it in to have checked out (because I still wanted it) and the geek squad guy said if there is a problem after less than 12 hours then just return it. So I did and they had to “inspect” the Mac before I could return it (which should’ve been done before I bought it as well). Instantly powered on to a failed screen and the geek squad guy told me the motherboard / hardrive is trashed... so how did I manage to get to purchase a trashed 1500$ iMac. Also I was told they will not match a price of any other open box iMacs. So i got my money back and will never purchase an open box product from Best Buy again. This was my first and last try at giving an open box product a go and it failed. Buy New.

After many years of owning a pc I was excited to try my first Mac. Although it’s fine it is not spectacular. It does not have a touch screen or any of the other features windows PCs have come out with. Plus I HATE the Bluetooth mouse and keyboard. I have nothing but problems with the mouse and it needs to be charged all the time.

I had bought this less than a month ago as part of our professional photography business to replace our outdated laptop. Not even three weeks in and it is slower than the 5 year old laptop. It says it has an amazingly fast processor yet it is one of the slowest computers I have ever owned. Wouldn’t recommend!

I was sold an open box 27” IMac. I was told it was like new. I called apple to get an Apple Care plan, unfortunately they told me that the computer was too old , as the initial warranty had expired it’s over 2 years old. It’s also too late to get the geek plan.. si I’m stuck with no warranty!!

I know my way around my Windows-based laptop @ find the transition to Apple difficult. To get some of my files read require an app of some kind, often at a cost. Customer support has been of no help. At this point, I am still using my old Windows computer and the I-Mac is just taking up space.

If your a life long Windows user this shouldn't be you first Apple computer. Hard to navigate and set up. Great for photos... but I didn't need to spend this much to have something to store and share pictures.

I bought both an iMac and a MacBook on 3/27 with the understanding that Offfice 365 would run on both. I have the same problem with both. The next day, I successfully installed Office on both computers, but I could not activate it on either machine. When I click on “Sign In” on the activation window, the window just goes blank and stays that way. Apple had me delete and reinstall with the same result, then said it wasn’t their problem, that I needed to contact Microsoft. Microsoft said they knew about the issue, it started the previous day, it must be something Apple did, and they didn’t have a solution but would contact me in 2 days on the current status. I have washed hour and hours on this and the computers are useless to me without Office. If you need to run Office, don’t buy a Mac.

Great Computer but unfortunately you can not update.

Overall a decent computer. I use it for my photography business and was hopeing it would streamline my workflow..... unfortunately it does not! It has major software issues with Lightroom. I read and many other photographers have had the same issues!

iMac 27’ was not any better then the one I got back in 2011. For all the money it cost I was disappointed.

I like the computer however when not in use or it sits idle the screen goes pink and blue. When I put it to sleep mode, it turns back on, then sleep then on.... How can I exchange it?

First of all. .. Let me say that this has nothing to do with Best Buy. I have been a customer of BB for about 30 years. Never had an problem with BB ever. With that said, I have my first bad review of a product I bought there. The first iMac purchase was going ok then the graphic card stated acting up. I took it back and bought the new 2017 iMac - 3 days into this purchase the keyboard stopped working with the Mac. typing took 3 minutes to write a sentence. I have to keep rebooting to get the Mac to work. just not happy with this purchase.

I've been using the iMac for many years. Before buying this one, my last one was the 2013 model. It was running fine, but I don't like to get too far behind on the hardware front. This 2017 version seems very similar in every way compared to my 2013 model. I was hoping it would knock my socks off, but the modest speed increase and the better display will make work that much more pleasant. My wife gets my old one (which will replace her old iMac, and she really noticed the speed increase, so everybody wins. One of the nicest things is the Magic Mouse. I had no expectations for this -- and I'm pretty picky about mice and trackpads. This has to be the nicest mouse I've ever used. Wish I could have gotten the Magic Keyboard with the number pad, but since that was not an option I'll be looking to upgrade in the future.

I downloaded several 5K quality high resolution images to use as my background/screen saver, and they are breathtaking on the iMac display. I then took those same images and loaded them on to my work computer (using a Dell monitor) and the difference is night and day. The image quality on other monitors is an absolute joke compared to iMac. My only suggestion if you buy this computer is to upgrade the memory from the standard 8GB. I increased my memory to 24GB, and it is much, much faster. The upgrade is also very easy to do yourself.

My wireless keyboard stop working within the first month.It only works if it’s plug in.The battery in the keyboard stop working.
