my 2009 iMac was keep freezing up for last few weeks, i could not figure out the cause of it, although it could have been fixed for few hundred bucks may be, i decided to switch to new one due to fast speed of data transfer, my usage was basically photo editing and some video clips editing, this iMac Screen is beautiful, plenty of ports, specs on this mac is top notch, it gives me speed i need for then stuff i need to do. 2TB fusion drive is decent size. the only con is Keyboard and mouse, KB it so small, have no wrist support, painful to type, mouse is awkward to recharge and painful to use for longer period of time. i am planning to use old apple wired KB and Logitech McMaster mouse. so sleek mouse and KB will be sitting at desk. Fusion drive is ok for me as apps load very fast (it has 128 GB SSD) , another added option is to get SSD as main HD and use fast external drive, either way is it costly. Graphic card is 8 GB RAM which is plenty for occasional gaming as well. For this price iMac should come with 16 GB of RAM, not sure why apple always short change the consumers for Memory and storage on most of their product. they do it on IPhone, IPAD and MacBook pro, they sell expensive stuff at below competition spec. i added Crucial 16 GB Ram for $155, better than paying $200 extra for 16 GB, now i have 24 GB RAM for $155, RAM is very easy to install, there is video on you tube for that. for future proofing and if one do lot of 4k video editing i would recommend I7 processor. Pros: Screen, Speed, Graphic card, ports Cons: mouse and KB (ergonomically) Gripe: 8 GB RAM at $2200 price point.

I have to admit, the computer is smarter than me. Fingers crossed I can learn because I need it for my home business.

More than six years excellent performance! However,I have to replace the keyboard and mouse. They were R.I.P. yesterday.

This iMac has been trouble since day one. I’ve taken it once to Apple and had it fixed and now again and who knows if it will make it this time. Apple support is not helpful at all and basically is blaming everything to COVID-19 and the shutdown. Unbelievable!

Used this computer for a total of an hour and already having to take it for repairs as it won’t turn on. I’ve tried EVERYTHING, I don’t believe this has anything to do with Best Buy, this is a direct reflection on Apple and their products. Not a happy camper after dropping nearly 2700.00.

Great Price Would have been a great deal But it kept Shutting Down Apple could not fix it over the phone so I returned it to Best Buy It was open box Don't know if that had anything to do with the problem

I have always used windows, apple os is new to me, It is like having a new car the capabilities and security system I like

I'm very happy with this iMac. It's fast and is performing flawlessly. It was easy to transfer information from my old iMac using the Migration Assistant. I'm very pleased with this computer.

This computer needs a -10 stars. This was the absolute worst computer ever. 5 years and it is toast! I am definitely going back to a PC and will never own another Mac! Apple offered no help with cost of repair or replacement, they were just like it’s a hardware issue. I ordered me another HP, to heck with Apple!

I just switched from pc to Mac couple months ago and oh boy! What a difference, I love the fact that I can sync all my apple products and control some of my iMac features from my iPhone! This Mac is a best! I definitely wish I would have done it sooner

Just set up the machine, added extra RAM. It's a pretty incredible screen, and lightning fast. No complaints. Definitely worth the wait for the upgrades. Wish the keyboard was a little bit bigger, but not a huge deal.

More than a powerful computer, iMac in my opinion is a work of art. It makes the home office looks beautiful. I mostly use it for editing photos and with 16GB RAM, it has no problem working with raw images. Absolutely love it!!

I have ordered open box of “Geek Certified” imac with 27 inch 3.8 ghz. But we received a 3.4 ghz imac in the box of 3.8 ghz imac box. After I found that I received a lower model imac, I immediately called a customer service. The representative told me to bring it to the closest store so that they will exchange it with the same products at further discounts. I didn’t want to bring it to the store because it is heavy and takes 30min to get there. But I already spent 2 hours to set up the imac with my personal info and needed to let “geek” delete all of my info in the wrong imac. I decided to bring it to the store. Geek guy at Smyrna store told me what he could only do is to boost up the turbo of cpu clock from 3.4 to 3.8ghz in the wrong imac. I questioned him about the differences of storages 1TB vs 2TB and graphic chips. The guy didn’t even know about there are differences in storage sizes and graphic chips.. I told him to exchange the product because each model has totally different cpu clock, storage size, and graphic chip. He and his supervisor then asked me to send it back to warehouse by myself because they don’t accept returns purchased on-line.. in addition, they tried to sell me a “new” imac at normal price. Totally different from what customer service representative told me. I complained about what “Certified” really means. I happened to find it out but I think that there are many people who don’t realize that they were sold lower model. I have no idea why this happened but I am pretty sure that this was not the only one. So you need to be very careful that Best Buy has been selling lower models at higher model price! Please check the system to make sure the model you purchased was actually the model you paid for. These guys were laughing on my face all the time and never considered that this is the serious issue. I have been purchasing many items from them over decades, but I don’t trust them any more. They have serious issues that they don’t realize. Don’t buy from them.
