This iMac may seem pricey compared to PCs; however, it is a great value. Powerful 3.8 GHz CPU, 5K Retina display, 2TB Fusion drive, and Radeon Pro 500 graphics card makes for a great package. The system came with 8GB of RAM which I am upgrading by adding 16GB bringing total RAM up to 24GB. Will be purchasing Corsair memory from Best Buy...much cheaper than purchasing as part of the Apple build. Initial impression is that this machine is really fast. Setup was a breeze as I restored filed and apps from time machine backup from my previous iMac which is 7 years old.

I hesitated buying an apple computer for several years because I thought it would be difficult to learn the new language and process. Boy, was I wrong. Setup couldn’t have been easier and navigation so simple. Best Buy associates were very helpful with the purchase.

I’m an Apple fan and have always wanted to buy an iMac but I was hesitating since it’s a bit pricey and I already own a Macbook. I finally decided to buy this when it went on sale and it just made me love Apple products even more! It runs so smooth and fast. I use it for editing my photos/videos and the screen is just so lovely!

It is hard to beat a 27” iMac with a 5K display. Pure computing enjoyment - and now is the time to but and save $$$ before the new models come out!

Bought it less than a month. Aesthetically pleasing; screen big enough for multiple windows at the same time; amazing sound system; easy setup.

My transition from a PC to an iMac has not been easy but I’m impressed with the speed and graphics. With time I’m sure I’ll love it.

Since everything we have is Apple...iPhone, iPad, iEverything, we have gone 100% Apple with buying this iMac. It is great to have iMac now and have everything together. Still a learning experience from a Desktop, but worth the investment.

Replaced a 2009 24 inch IMac and the difference in screen size and resolution is amazing. Simple setup and meeting my every need.

My Review Summary is not meant to be snarky. This is my 6th Mac and our third iMac. The first one was bought in 1998, and died in 2008. That one died about three weeks after we bought this one. Think about it. How often do we by products on which we can depend for about ten years? I've had to replace hard drives occasionally, but it's a computer. Hard drives die. I expect a good ten years from this machine and I would imagine anyone else should expect the same if they buy one.

I rarely used my old laptop for portability issues and decided to go with a desktop. Also the battery on my old laptop would get “red hot” and I was always worried about the amount or heat it was generating. The 27” screen on my new iMac is so much more refreshing to look at rather than bending my neck down for hours on end looking at my old laptop. I’m not that enthusiastic about the small keyboard though. Feels like your hands are cramped together.

This was exactly what I was looking for. Great speed. Clean lines. Reliable. Apple products are always as expected.

The new Mac is very fast, with beautiful display, n and continues to remain free of viruses. I now own three.

This is the latest of our Apple purchases. Big screen is easy to use and easy to set up in a small space.
