Bought another brand for a lil less money only to find the plastic at the phone end connection too thick - couldnt use w/o taking phone case off 1st with 2 different styles of cases - cant really tell tell till you get it out of package - shouldve spent few dollars more to buy apple & saved trip back to town

I've gone thru numerous iPhones over the years as well as phones. The one thing I love about the lighting cables is that you don't have to worry about plugging it in the wrong way in the middle of the night. Good design Apple just make the material on the cables last longer so I don't have to buy so many.

This cord always fits with the Lifeproof case on. The only thing missing is an option for a longer cord.

I bought the Apple brand charger because I wanted to make sure it worked and it sure does

Was away on a business trip and forgot a phone charger. I was in my UBER driving down the highway when I saw a BestBuy. So lucky that they have so many stores I was able to get a charging cord and get to my meetings on time. The cord itself is great and BestBuy had them on sale.

Works great. Apple approved is the way to go Other cheaper chargers take a long time to charge your phone

In my opinion I have only used Apple brand cords due to the fact that I have had problems in the past with off brands. Also they seem to stay in good condition under normal wear and tear.

It's the best cable but cost to much but last longer then cheap ones

This cable isn’t the toughest but if you take care of it it’s the only cable that will let you sync your iPhone to your computer without having to shop around too much. Do not leave phone sitting on cable while it’s charging, that’s he fastest way to ripping and breaking it.

I have been advised more than once at Best Buy to purchase the 'cheaper' brand, which has not held up for my kids or for me in the past, so I just buy the Apple ones now.

So far this is the only chord that works with my phone however I would recommend buying the extra footage

The apple brand charger works good and lasts a long time compare to other brands that don't last long. This charger does cost more money but worth it. You get what you pay for :)

Apple's lightning cables are good to have. I think it's better than the other bands that are out there.

Really the only brand charger id buy, it was for a gift and i know any other brand doesnt work as well

For an Apple product buy an Apple product - tried generic USB's in the past and they have not worked well.

when it comes to chargers it's better to spend the extra dollars and get a good one or in this case, an original iPhone charger. It's good to protect your phone battery. The price was a little high but I didn't expect it to be cheap and I did have a $5 off reward so that was great! I gave it four stars mainly because you have to buy the plug in box and the cable separately. Other than that it is great; just like the one my phone came with.

I went to purchase an iPhone charger because my old one broke and to my surprise Best Buy had Apple brand chargers on sale for $12.99! I ended up buying two! Great product!

These last longer than any 3rd party cable I've purchased and never get a device not compatible error.

I needed to replace my old cable. This works. Will probably get a longer one next time.
